ResXML is an XML application for the presentation-oriented markup of resumes or curricula vitae. The aim is for ResXML to support a set of features which make it a very functional tool for generating resumes for actual use from an XML source.

Format XML allows data formats to be defined
through a Java Swing GUI application, and
stored as XML and saved to a Web database
to be shared amongst users. The XML
definition of the data format can then be used
to generate Java source code that can parse
the format that has been built.

Relister is a curses-based tool which takes a plaintext file containing a newline-delimited list and allows you to easily reorder each line individually. It was written to keep a ranked list of all of the movies the author has seen.

transtoba2 facilitates the transliteration or
transcription of a word or text from the Roman
script into the Toba Batak script. Transliterating
from the Roman into the Batak script is not an
easy undertaking, as the Batak script has a number
of peculiarities that complicates the process of
transliteration. This program uses a set of
algorithms which enables the user to effortlessly
transliterate from the Roman to the Toba Batak
script.

BlogBaboon is a desktop client for editing and
publishing posts on your Blogger blog. Instead of
Blogger's HTML or WYSYWIG input, you get to use
lightweight wiki markup. Instead of Blogger's
unconvincing preview, you get to see exactly how
your post will look.

SandR is a recursive regex search and replacement utility with a simple but comprehensive GUI. It works on a file or recursively on a directory and supports Java-style regular expressions in search terms and the auto-detection of character encoding of the files. It supports extensive logging and the automatic backing up of files.

Ali is a simple-to-use C API to parse XML data. Its scanf-like
approach is much easier than using SAX or DOM. A tutorial,
complete reference documentation, and code examples are
all provided in the download.

XSLjoke is an XSL/XML transformation class for
PHP, using Sablotron as a PHP extension library.
Currently, it seems to be the only one able to
work with Sablotron >= 0.97 and PHP. It has been
tested with PHP 4.3.1, but should work with any
PHP version since 4.2.0.

Pmtolatex converts Adobe PageMaker documents to LaTeX. It tries to do a good job on equations, and will even attempt to set up LaTeX equation and align environments in appropriate places. However, it doesn't use any nontextual information from the input file.

Java Text Table Formatter is a set of classes to
help print text in tabulated form. You can
organize 'cells' of data into rows and columns.
Each cell can contain multiple lines of text, and
may specify a horizontal alignment (left, center,
right) and a vertical alignment (top, center, bottom).

xmlrpcserver is a simple to use but fairly
complete XML-RPC server module for Python,
implemented on top of the standard module
xmlrpclib. This module may, for example, be used
in CGIs, inside application servers or within an
application, or even standalone as an HTTP server
waiting for XML-RPC requests. xmlrpcserver is
completely written in Python and has no
dependencies other than standard modules.

sms_biff is a tool that extends the concept of
biff by sending notifications of incoming emails
via SMS. By setting up your email filtering to
call this script with a copy of incoming messages,
it will send a terse version of each message to
your cell phone.

DocFrac is a tool that converts documents from RTF to HTML and from HTML to RTF. It is useful for bulk
document conversion and dynamic Web pages. It does not require a word processor to work.

Integratis is a Web development framework that
supports quick scripting and selective
optimization of interactive Web sites. It is
implemented in C using Pthreads and SysV shared
memory. It features a multi-threaded application
server, CGI and commandline clients that directly
access objects in shared memory, an intelligent,
designer-friendly HTML parser that automatically
pre-populates forms, rewrites query strings, and
executes server-side scripts in multiple scripting
languages, an object-relational mapping layer, a
built-in scripting language and a single OO
framework that allows classes to be implemented in
multiple scripting languages or as shared libraries.
