Avec la version 4.0.2, Lite CD (avec enseignement add-ons et un LiveCD) a été ajouté. C'est une XFCE4 distribution basée sur du matériel ancien qui fonctionne encore, sinon avec toutes les dernières fonctionnalités. Il s'installe sur les systèmes de 64M, mais 128M ou plus est recommandé.

With the 4.0.2 release, Lite CD (with educational add-ons and a LiveCD) was added. It's an XFCE4 based distribution for old hardware that still works, if not with all of the latest features. It installs on 64M systems, but 128M or more is recommended.
Assez quelques corrections de bugs dans l'installeur et de colis. Le plus remarquable est que fglrx ne bloque NVIDIA / Intel support de la 3D, et il n'est pas plus «AMD non pris en charge le matériel" overlay sur ATI. 4.0 a été une sorte de «sac en papier brun», communiqué, alors que 4.0.1 + sont pour de vrai.

Quite a few bugfixes in the installer and packages. The most outstanding are that fglrx no longer blocks NVIDIA/Intel 3D support, and there is no more "AMD Unsupported Hardware" overlay on ATI. 4.0 was sort of a "brown paper bag" release, while 4.0.1+ are for real.

Il comprend des pilotes mis à jour les codecs vidéo et multimédia, qui peuvent être réparties conformément au droit d'auteur et de licence sans avoir à supporter les brevets logiciels.

This release is complementary to Server 4.0 and features a KDE-based desktop with primarily Russian and Ukrainian localizations, with English, Byelarussian, Tatar, and Kazakh specifically supported as well. It includes updated video drivers and multimedia codecs, which can be distributed according to copyright and license without supporting software patents.
