Description du projet

Buildroot is a set of Makefiles and patches that makes it easy to generate a complete embedded Linux system. Buildroot can generate any or all of a cross-compilation toolchain, a root filesystem, a kernel image, and a bootloader image. It is useful mainly for people working with small or embedded systems using various CPU architectures (x86, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, etc.).

Cette version ajoute un grand nombre de nouveaux paquets (43): at91bootstrap3, ccid et PSC-lite, gnupg, opus, Linux-pam, perl, python3, qemu, tirpc et rpcbind, ajoute binutils 2.23.1, GCC 4.7.2 et récente Codebench/Linaro toolchains.

La valeur par défaut est maintenant GCC 4.6. Le manuel a été remanié et élargi, et beaucoup d'annotations licence paquet ajoutées.
