oxine is a lightweight, purely OSD-based xine frontend for set-top boxes and home entertainment systems. It uses the on screen display functionality of xine to display its user interface elements like buttons, lists, sliders, and so on. Due to this, oxine can easily use any video output device the xine library provides.

Ce communiqué ajoute le support pour la configuration du menu principal en utilisant un fichier XML, le soutien à thèmes, le soutien pour la récupération des vignettes à partir d'un fichier. Répertoire, le soutien pour récupérer le nom du disque d'un CD-ROM, un soutien pour les VDR, le soutien à un temps simple rapport, une valeur de configuration pour régler l'aspect ratio moniteur pixel, et une option pour désactiver le tri des mediamarks. This release adds support for configuring the main menu using an XML file, support for themes, support for retrieving thumbnail images from a .directory file, support for retrieving the disc name of a CD-ROM, support for VDR, support for a simple weather report, a configuration value to set the monitor pixel aspect ratio, and an option to disable sorting of mediamarks. The DTDs of mediamarks and favorites have been changed.
