pwcrypt is a command line interface to the crypt() function. It is handy for use in generating encrypted passwords via a command line interface. As of version 1.2.1, the project name was changed from cli-crypt (Command Line Crypt) to pwcrypt to avoid binary conflicts with mcrypt on some Linux platforms.
