Description du projet

Sisela is a small, self-contained system designed to turn a PC into a highly capable piece of networking equipment. It can act as a bridge, router (with RIP, BGP, OSPF, PIM-SM, and AODV), firewall, DHCP server, DNS server, wireless access point, or any combination of these functions. It can boot and run from a single floppy disk or CD-ROM. It is based on Linux and supports a wide variety of network and wireless hardware, including ISA, PCI, PCMCIA, CardBus, and USB devices.

Pratiquement tous les ISA / PCI / PCMCIA / CardBus pilote réseau sous Linux 2.4.22 est désormais inclus et détectée automatiquement. Le processus de construction sont désormais automatisés, et un paquet source est disponible.

An SSH2 server and DNS caching/forwarding server were added. Practically every ISA/PCI/PCMCIA/CardBus network driver in Linux 2.4.22 is now included and autodetected. The build process is now automated, and a source package is available.
