The UDAT ruby library is a parser and generator
for UDAT documents, a data format offering a
generic basis for data storage and transmission,
while being both easily readable by humans and
machines. It is comparable to formats like XML or
YAML, but due to its simplicity is much easier to
parse. The library includes an easy mechanism to
send UDAT objects to remote machines in order to
do remote procedure calls similar to XML-RPC.
