xscanner is an easy-to-use X (Xforms-based) scanner program which includes a previewer. It relies on a commandline-oriented scanprogram, either hpscanpbm for HP SCSI scanners or the SANE scanimage frontend. It also needs the pbmplus or netpbm tools and optionally Xforms to be installed.

Prise en charge étendue de reconfiguration de toutes les commandes backend partir de l'application elle-même a été ajoutée. Tous les paramètres sont aujourd'hui conservés dans le fichier de ressources. Xscanrc. La zone de prévisualisation a été entièrement revu, utilise des pixmaps au lieu de bitmaps, et soutient en forme de croix et les contrôles pour les prévisualisations.
Extensive support for reconfiguring all backend commands from within the application itself has been added. All settings are now kept in the resource file .xscanrc. The preview area has been completely overhauled, uses pixmaps instead of bitmaps, and supports crosshair and controls for previews.
