Copix is a multi-purpose framework for PHP Web
applications. It features a multi-layered
structure (GUI, services, and database access)
and an advanced caching system based on plug-ins
(Smarty, internal, or others). Many other
components are also integrated, including a
calendar, mail sender, and a forum.

Un Wiki, système de cache, et le système de log ont été ajoutés. Authentification est meilleur et plus simple. Copix 3 fonctionne avec PHP 5 et AOP (MySQL, SQLite, Oracle et autres). Beaucoup de changements majeurs ont été accomplis. Le système de modules est très utile et simple.
