Description du projet

The Parted Magic OS employs core programs from
GParted and Parted to handle partitioning tasks
with ease, while featuring other useful programs
including Partition Image, TestDisk, fdisk,
sfdisk, dd, and ddrescue and an excellent set of
documentation to benefit the user. An extensive
collection of fileystem tools are also included,
and the following filesystems are supported: ext2,
ext3, ext4, FAT16, FAT32, HFS, HFS+, JFS,
Linux-swap, NTFS, ReiserRS, reiser4, and XFS. It
loads completely to system memory and requires at
least 256MB of RAM to operate.

This version brings all the Xorg packages up to date, adds Spanish language support, and has a greatly improved Shut Down Menu. In the last release, there were some issues with the Xorg 13 series. Some people were getting black screens. Reports have come in, and most of this seems to be corrected by adjusting some udev rules, pulling a few Xorg drivers from git, and updating to the 3.7.5 Linux kernel.

Cette version met à jour certains programmes et corrige quelques bugs. Les mises à jour plus notables incluent 1.2.12-10, TrueCrypt 7.1, Firefox 10.0.1 et Linux 3.2.6 Clonezilla. Lorsque busybox a été compilé pour la dernière version, dpkg et ar ont tort exclus. Lorsque le dernier noyau a été compilé, le module bnep a été manqué.
