Description du projet

Rapicorn is an experimental UI toolkit. It strives to apply modern technologies properly to all aspects of the toolkit implementation. Such technologies include pthreads, XCB, Cairo, compositing, IDL, XML notation, path evaluation, DSLs, unit tests, and SVG. Rapicorn is developed on this base with the aim to significantly improve developer efficiency and user experience.

Le présent communiqué contient une multitude de nouvelles fonctionnalités comme Python, une suite de tests automatisés, de nombreux correctifs et améliorations mineures. CARP, un compilateur IDL enfichables, a été ajouté pour les liaisons de langage pour C + + et Python. This release contains a multitude of new features like Python bindings, an automated test suite, many bugfixes, and small improvements. PLIC, a pluggable IDL compiler, was added for language bindings for C++ and Python. ROPE, the Remote Object Programming Extension, provides a middleware - interfaces have been migrated from headers to IDL files. Basic typesystem and model APIs were implemented. C++ TR1 and Cairo dependancies were introduced. Some performance improvements were made in different areas of the code.
