The use of the insecure and deprecated rexec Python module was replaced with new code which now works with Python version 2.2 and above.

Minor bugfixes
A small bug fix was made to correct a problem when using an empty history. The number of bytes output was reduced by almost one third, and the documentation about the setenv and unsetenv commands was improved.
